How to Use the Wheel Spinner

Adding Options

Adding options to your wheel is simple and quick:

  1. Enter your option text in the field under "Add Your Options"
  2. Click the "Add to Wheel" button to add it to the wheel
  3. Repeat this process to add multiple options
  4. Each option gets its own colored segment on the wheel

Managing Your Options

You have complete control over your wheel options:

  • Use the eye icon to hide an option from the wheel without deleting it
  • Toggle the "Show Hidden Options" switch to view or manage hidden items
  • Click the trash icon to permanently remove an option from the wheel
  • Options with points display the point count next to the option name

Spinning the Wheel

Spin the wheel and get your random result:

  1. Make sure you have at least two visible options on the wheel
  2. Click the "Spin the Wheel" button or click directly on the wheel
  3. Watch as the wheel spins and gradually slows down
  4. The pointer on the left side indicates the winning option
  5. A popup will display your result when the wheel stops spinning

Working with Results

After spinning, you can manage your results:

  • Click "Add Point" to assign a point to the winning option
  • Click "Hide Option" to remove the winning option from future spins
  • Points are displayed in parentheses next to option names on the wheel
  • All spin results are recorded in the Spin History table
  • Points help track which options have been chosen most frequently

Sharing Your Wheel

Share your custom wheel configuration with others:

  1. Click the "Share Wheel" button at the top of the page
  2. Copy the generated link from the sharing dialog
  3. Send the link to friends via email, message, or social media
  4. When others open the link, they'll see your exact wheel configuration
  5. This is perfect for sharing decision wheels with groups
